On Friday 4th July we put on a music concert in Hare Hill Park bandstand. Instead of featuring traditional Brass Bands, we booked three local rock bands to perform with the excellent Voltage headlining.
On Sunday 6th July, the cyclists passed into Littleborough, along a section of B6138 and the A58 adjacent to Blackstone Edge reservoir. We had organised for a big screen to be located in Hare Hill Park along with lots of activities and entertainment.
Littleborough was the only place in Greater Manchester to host part of the race.
